Lucy Jane Georghiou
BEd, MA (University of Cambridge)
Qualified RAD Ballet & IDTA Modern, Tap and Gym Teacher & Ex West End performer
Lucy-Jane hails from Lancashire and trained full time for a brief period at the Royal Ballet School, White Lodge and then part time at the Lupino School of Dance, Bury as well as the Northern Ballet School, Manchester. She worked extensively as a child in theatre, television and radio. She made her west end debut at the age of six, playing Marta in The 'Sound of Music' and notable credits include: the title role in the hit musical 'Annie' which toured the UK and with the National Youth Music Theatre, lead roles in 'Bugsy Malone' and 'Alice in Wonderland'.
Taking time out from her performing, Lucy-Jane undertook her undergraduate studies at Cambridge University, which gave her the opportunity to perform with the Footlights company as well as train on a professional level in Latin and Ballroom Dance.
She returned to the west end to join the cast of 'Cats' and went on to play a lead role in 'Fame'. TV appearances include: A Touch of Frost, Hetty Wainthrop Investigates, Casualty and Coronation Street.

Andria Christodoulides
BA (Hons) English & Drama, PGCE OS
Andria began her journey in drama and education having been awarded a scholarship for further education from the Cypriot government, based on her excellence certificates and work ethic during her school years. Andria graduated from Birmingham City University with a BA (Hons) degree in English and Drama in 2012, and in the same year, won the Drama Prize for directing Martin Crimp’s ‘Attempts on her Life’ and for producing the best work in drama related modules at BCU. After finishing her degree and realising her passion for teaching children, Andria observed and taught English, Drama and Theatre Studies classes at various schools, where she directed, assisted and was backstage manager for house, junior and senior school productions. In 2014, Andria completed her PGCE OS and immediately joined the LTAS family.
Andria is part of the management team at Limassol Theatre Arts School and is a firm believer in inclusivity and opportunity. At LTAS, Andria is manager of our school’s operations and producer/ backstage manager of our shows. Andria teaches Communication Skills, English Skills and Book Club, as part of the Integrated English Learning Programme, Speech & Drama and acting within the Musical Theatre classes. Her professional philosophy is continuous expansion of expertise, providing and making the most of opportunities and contributing to society and the industry.
Her biggest accomplishment to date has been producing LTAS’ very successful and sold out stage show of the multi-award winning West End and Broadway musical ‘Matilda’, which included professionals of the industry, at the Pattihio Municipal Theatre in Limassol in 2019.
Dance
Sofia Hadjigeorgiou
Greek National Opera Dance School
Sofia was born in Limassol where she grew up and started to dance at the early age of 4 years old. She graduated from the Greek National Opera Dance School in Athens as a dance teacher in ballet and contemporary dance. During her studies she had contracts with the Greek National Opera and danced in productions such as the Nutcracker and Faust under the artistic director Kostantinos Rigos.

Immediately after her studies she was offered a contract with the State Opera Stara Zagora in Bulgaria where she danced a range of classical repertoire such as Swan Lake, Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Paquita, Don Quixote and much more. She also worked with contemporary choreographers for operas and operettas such as Faust, Esmeralda, Ghetto, Pilate’s dream to name but a few. Sofia has danced on many big stages during a tour with the company in Germany, Netherlands and Belgium performing also soloist roles such as the Spanish dance in Swan Lake.

Her vision is to transfer her love for ballet and contemporary to her students, to improve their technique, to pass on the knowledge for the arts and for her students to learn and grow as a group as well as individually!

Elina Charalambous
BMus Codarts University of the Arts
Elina was born and raised in Limassol, Cyprus. In 2011 she decided to audition for the Limassol’s music lyceum where she graduated from in 2014. In 2015
Elina auditioned at the Codarts conservatoire in Rotterdam, Netherlands and got accepted to study there in the classical singing department. In The Netherlands, Elina got to study with Charlotte Riedijk as her main subject teacher but also with Maarten Hillenius as her accompanist and David Prins as her drama teacher. Elina had her final singing recital in June 2019 and graduated from Codarts with a bachelor’s degree in classical singing.
Over the last few years Elina participated in various opera productions such as Fidelio by Beethoven which was performed in De Doelen in Rotterdam and Carré in Amsterdam. She sang the mezzo leading role from Cosi fan tutte by Mozart in Rotterdam which was performed in Las Palmas, Rotterdam. She also participated at the Gergiev Festival in 2017 and sang the ‘’Cantata for the 20th anniversary of the October revolution’’ by Sergey Prokofiev conducted by Valery Gergiev himself.
Elina sang Hymnus Paradisi by Herbert Howells with Martyn Brabbins conducting the BBC Scottish symphony orchestra. Lastly, in March 2019 she made her debut at the Dutch National Opera and sang the leading mezzo role of a new Portuguese opera named ‘’Alma Grande’’ by the Portuguese composer Nuno Lobo which premiered at The Dutch National opera during the Opera Forward Festival.

Evey Jermy
BSc (Hons) Sustainability and Environmental Management, IBDP
Evey grew up in Norfolk and holds a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours from the University of Leeds. Her love of education was harboured during her studies in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. During this process, she cultivated a global outlook and an appreciation for impactful education.
With a dynamic background in theatre, Evey integrates her passion for the arts into everything she does. After 15 years of amateur and school productions, she extended her experience to directing and producing musicals during her university years, reflecting her strong commitment to both education and creativity.
Having volunteered in schools both in Kenya and Leeds, Evey’s experience reaches across continents. These international experiences have honed her teaching approach, allowing her to seamlessly integrate her love for the arts into her teaching and tutoring methods and led her to pursue further experiences in Cyprus.

Malvina Germanou

Malvina Germanou was born and raised in Limassol, Cyprus. Her love for music, children and performance started at a very young age which led her to pursue the path of music education. She is a passionate music teacher and a vocal performer. She specializes in vocal techniques, musical theatre and preliminary music education, committed to providing dynamic music education experiences that spark students’ creativity and curiosity.
She studied Music in London (City University London) where she received her BMus degree and then continued to study and received her Master’s degree in Music Education (University of Nicosia). During her studies, she received a professional Diploma in Musical Theatre. Malvina continues to learn and develop her skills with new seminars. She has over 10 years of experience in teaching and her students attain top exam results in their examination grades.

Anastasia Papadopoulou

Anastasia Papadopoulou is a professional music educator with a wide range of both musical and educational knowledge.
In 2015 she went to pursue her dream of becoming a musician in the UK. She did her bachelor’s degree (Hons) in music and during that had the opportunity to explore the broad world of music. From composing both classical and electroacoustic music to orchestration, musicology, music history and piano performance; She successfully graduated from The University of Sheffield in June 2019. That same year, Anastasia had been accepted to do a master’s degree in Music Education at the world’s number 1 institute for education, the UCL Institute of Education. During her studies there, Anastasia acquired the ability to analyse and debate theoretical and practical aspects of music education from a philosophical, psychological and sociological perspective.
She completed her master's degree with distinction and just upon finalizing her master’s dissertation in September 2020, Anastasia was offered her current job at LTAS as a music teacher and the leading teacher of the afternoon homework club.
Dance
Sharon Montague
University of Cape Town Ballet School, South Africa
Sharon Montague studied in Durban, South Africa under Paddy Chelin and won numerous dance awards. She went on to study at The University of Cape Town Ballet School. As a professional dancer, Sharon performed in fusion contemporary companies as well as in extravaganzas, musicals and pantomimes including "Showboat", "Showstopper" (which included original choreography from 42nd Street and Chorus Line), "Robinson Crusoe" and "Babes in the Wood" to name just a few.
In Cyprus, Sharon taught at local dance schools and choreographed for the Premiere Group. She successfully staged The King and I, Oliver, My Fair Lady, One Day More and Flashback as well as many popular Christmas pantomimes. Other teaching achievements include the choreography of four Shakespeare at Curium productions.
Sharon opened Free Flight Dance Centre in Limassol, Cyprus in 2010. Her school staged many successful dance shows and her competition Team represented Limassol and Cyprus on many occasions around the world with very successful results. Her students achieved extremely high exam results in RAD Ballet, AIDT tap, modern and hip hop, with many students being awarded bursaries.
Sharon is a fully registered teacher in the RAD method and an examiner for AIDT modern, tap and hip hop. Many of her previous students have successfully been accepted in dance/musical theatre colleges and are professional dancers and teachers.

Sue Ioannides
A.L.A.M Teaching Diploma, The Birmingham School of Dramatic Art
Postgraduate Studies at Trinity Guildhall
Sue went to The Birmingham School of Dramatic Art and obtained an A.L.A.M teaching diploma before taking a post graduate course at Trinity Guildhall specializing in Elizabethan Studies and taking a course in Directing.
After her studies she worked as a professional actress for eight years in pantomime, theatre in education, musical theatre and repertory theatre as well as touring in the productions of 'The Secretary Bird' 'Abigail's Party' and Noel Coward's 'Hay fever'.
In Cyprus she has concentrated on teaching and directing. She teaches drama at L.T.A.S and has directed productions including The Sound of Music, Midsummer Night's Dream, Abigail's Party, Stepping Out and recently Ladies' Day.
Gymnastics, Fitness, Tap
Maxine Norcott
Maxine trained as a gymnast and competed at regional level. After retiring she qualified as a gymnastic coach under the guidance of a British National Coach and went on to work at a UK club which produced a British Champion and an Olympian.
After raising her four children she qualified as a Learning Support Assistant ( LSA ) giving her knowledge and understanding of the many different ways in which children learn. Before moving to Cyprus, Maxine worked in the UK as an LSA and she also taught gymnastics in primary schools to children of varying abilities.
Maxine has enjoyed a lifelong involvement in tap dancing, performing as a child and an adult in amateur shows.
She enjoys the challenge of preparing students for the tap syllabus and exam work as well as teaching gymnastics in an independent day school in Limassol.

Panayiota Smeraidou

Panayiota began her journey as a professional gymnast from the age of 5. From the age of 7 she began competing and became part of the pre-national team of Cyprus until she was 16.
Having studied Physical Education in Greece and majored in Artistic Gymnastics, she then continued to attain her Masters degree in Sports Science with the University of Nicosia.
She began work as a coach in 2008 and has successfully led the team to first place while competing in Cyprus and abroad. In 2009 Panayiota became a national and international judge in artistic gymnastics. Later, in 2013, she began working as a Physical Education teacher in schools and continues to do so today.
For the last 5 years she has also closely worked with Musical Theatre performers and dancers on their flexibility and acrobatic elements in routines.
